Forbidden but totally irresistible

Detective Kevin Storm has always had a soft spot for his partner’s sister. Macy Wagner is off-limits—and constantly in his way— especially when he’s out chasing a good time. But after one blurry night and one very awkward morning, Kevin sees her in a new light. He can’t stop thinking about the woman he was never supposed to touch.

Macy’s crushed on Kevin since they were kids, but she’s not about to fall for a man who parties too hard and flirts even harder, especially since her father’s drinking cost her both her parents. Still, there’s something different in the way Kevin looks at her now… something dangerous to both her heart and her resolve.

Their night together may have been innocent—but nothing feels innocent anymore. And when the heat between them starts to build, they’ll have to decide if they’re willing to take a chance… or risk losing the one thing they never saw coming.

Excerpt:

Holding up her black spikes and a pair of dress boots, she asked, “What’s the condition of Nathaniel’s walkway? I don’t want to fall, but these,” she held up the sparkly stilettos, “look way better with this dress. See.” She dropped the shoes on the floor and wiggled her feet until they were on, then struck a sexy pose that exposed one of her legs.

“Doesn’t matter what his walkway’s like. I’ll carry you if I have to. Definitely the shoes.” His eyes showed appreciation, and she ate it up.

“Thank you, detective. You’re always so diligent with that protect and serve thing.”

He winked at her. “I aim to please."
